Dr. Eric Biondi

Dr. Biondi joined Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in 2017 as the inaugural division director of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. He completed medical school at the Temple University School of Medicine in 2008 and his pediatrics residency at the University of Rochester in 2011. Following his residency, he became a faculty member and pediatric hospitalist at The University of Rochester Medical Center. The first few years of his academic career were spent developing best practices through outcomes research in the diagnosis and management of infants admitted with fever, children hospitalized with community-acquired pneumonia, and other common medical conditions. Since his arrival at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Biondi built and directed the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Dr. Biondi also serves as the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Johns Hopkins Children's Center.
